Asli Kutluay

Born in 1970, Aslı Kutluay started her career in design and her life in the arts with the silver medal she won in Shankar’s International Children’s Competition at the age of 10. As a result of her interest in geometry and art during her high school years, she began her undergraduate studies in the Department of Industrial Design at METU (Middle East Technical University) in 1988. After finishing her undergraduate studies in 1992 and starting graduate master studies in the Department of Graphical Design at Bilkent University the same year, Aslı Kutluay earned a reward at the “Pari Emballage” in Paris with her “Minimal Packages for Cyber Shopping” project upon receiving her master’s degree in 1994. Having founded ASK Design Office in 1996, Aslı Kutluay has taken part in many projects varying from vehicle dressing to furniture, interior and industrial design. Apart from these, she has contributed to various other projects with her artistic identity.
