Galleria Monteoliveto

Opening Thursday October 9, 2008 at 17.30. "50 x 50" is an exhibition of contemporary art organized by GalleriaMonteoliveto addressed to young artists of visual arts. Ferruccio Maierna, Attilio Michele Varricchio, Sonia Giambrone, Antonio Scala, Vincenzo Ventrone, Ilaria Parente, Gérémy Ouazana and Gb, are the 8 artists (in descending order of age) who will present the works of painting, sculpture, photography, digital art and mixed media during the inauguration of GalleriaMonteoliveto in Naples. The exhibition is freestyle, the only element equal for all, the size of the works on show: the artists were invited to work on the format 50 cm x 50 cm seeking to exalt the expressive content and suggest a mosaic of different sensitivities. The exhibition becomes a point of meeting real and virtual and "contamination", laying the groundwork for a dialogue between artists.
The initiative for which a publishing catalog has been realized, sought membership of a broad group of representatives from the world of culture, art, journalism and industry.
