Wednesday, April 27 Elisabeth Guerrier, a French artist born in Normandy presented her solo exhibition of photography related to the theme of aging,.. read in a deftly ironic key playing with black and white, and texture. Grainy images, zoom in bodies subjected to weather damage. A unique exhibition with a particolar title: plasturgy is the young plastics industry, founded in the first half of the twentieth century, with the aim of studying and developing the transforming processes of plastics. The artist plays with the specific terms of those processes in an interesting game of mirrors that communicates with the cosmetic works to give us mercilessly, a provocation against the aging process, a message also to think about aesthetics: the body is always in advance on itself, we have to adapt to its changes constantly recreating and dispelling the myth of eternal youth. A tribute to the age and what better gift in this May of Monuments in 2011 dedicated to the body language? At the exhibition participated, among a large audience of art lovers, the consul of Tunisia in Naples Brahim Aouam with his wife, with friends, and artists interested in contemporary art and media representatives. Presentation by Christian Iorio who has pointed out on the one hand the importance of giving value to an art privileging the instant as a field of observation, on the other hand, the irony with which the artist addresses the issue of how our body turns into a tale of time passing, of time that sculpts passing ...
