Galleria Monteoliveto

On September 30, 2011 Monteoliveto Gallery reopens the autumn exhibition season with an interesting double proposal within the Project P5 PHOTOGRAPHY.... with 2 photographers, José GALLEGO and Luigi Montefoschi. The Opening on October, 6,  in the presence of the artists has been attended by a great public of friends and photo art lovers, together with the representatives of the press Rosaria Morra, Daniela Ricci and Arianna Ziccardi, who gave, together with tehe website of Storia City,  a wide space to the event on the media.
 
José GALLEGO, Spanish, presents Tributes: "A recent series inspired by artists, a sort of homage to painters and photographers interpreted according to my point of view." The artist's perspective on the studies of Dalì, Caravaggio, David, Hopper, where a lone gas station, or a pylon speak of landscapes created by man, but strangers to him. "I try to create worlds that are in this world": the artist captures carved details with lights and shadows in a manner reminiscent of the seventeenth century Dutch painting and that we could only hope to capture with our eyes.
Luigi MONTEFOSCHI, Italian, presents FROM CHAOS TO ENTROPY "It took me many years to make sense of my photography beyond the techniques tested and exploited." From chaos to confusion, but not intended as a confusion, but as an offer of huge amounts of heterogeneous information to entropy: through the aesthetic sense the choice of images to be composed approaches pieces of knowledge and information, putting together images that transcend both space and time to search for the primal connection to universal knowledge.
