Dance Movements, opening on Thursday March, 22 at 6 p m of the solo exhibition of Peter Sherman, artist born in London who  lives and works in Sweden  welcomed with great interest by a large audience of friends and art lovers fascinated by the tension of the  works and the suggestion of the video presentation of the performance at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York that has inspired the artist. The exhibition has been sponsored by the Club Artistes Franco Italien de Nice. The exhibition has proposed works characterized by a skilful use of light and shadow, on the dancers’ bodies with taut musculature and sharp body angles dramatically turning in unlikely poses. Capturing the poses of his dancers in these unusual positions is the central theme of the symbolism full of emotion the artist conveys to a real new choreography conveyed by “frame by frame” where limbs, muscles, shadow and light represent a balanced whole, and give to body movements the expressiveness required by the dance.
