Astrid Castillo Quesada
Born to Spanish immigrant workers in Trier in 1971, I early discovered my passion for portraying people in photographs. In my life nothing has changed about that until today.
When I take photographs of people, my intuition supports me to capture the essence of their personality in my pictures. The combination of this sentiments for people and my professional skills as a photographer is what makes my pictures very specific: my photographs always go beyond the surface.
I am located in Germany but work also with international orientation. The people I do portray include actors, artists, models, musicians! For all of them it is important how they are perceived by public.
The scope of my work includes portrait and fashion photography as well as nude photography – but also ambitious artistic photography projects.
