Joolie Green

Joolie Green’s formal art training began in Life drawing at the Brett Whiteley Studio and several periods at Art Students League in New York.. followed by National Art School short courses and Life drawing as a Friend of National Art School member. During the last decade, she undertook several study and sketching trips to US, Japan and Europe. Highlights were exhibiting in New York with fellow Australians, and a solo show At The Vanishing Point. Due to her interest in children and non-profits, she was invited three times in group shows at Sydney Children’s Hospital and invited twice in successful auctions by Variety for Children. She has held exhibitions overseas in Japan, Nice and Naples, was awarded Winner of Naples Contemporary Art Prize 2013 for Sea Fever; invited in the Award GemlucArt in the Principality of Monaco she was again with MG in Nice at the ART of the Prom’ Art Fair on the Promenade des Anglais.

The artist was invited to write for ARTisSpectrum magazine New York on Contemporary Art Scene in Sydney, and was selected as member of Japan Art Directory in Australia. Her paintings were recently installed in Medical centres in Australia.

In the 2nd edition of our Contest “PREMIO NAPOLI FOR CONTEMPORARY ART 2014, the Jury has again awarded her work “Goethe’s Italian Journey” the Special mention Naples & Goethe and the Gallery has acquired the work for the Gallery.
