Antonella Lieto
Antonella Lieto was born in Naples, where she lives and works and she attends the art school where she receives an aim for a life to play on the side of creativity and research. Then she attends the Florence School of Photography, a postgraduate master of great prestige. "Antonella Lieto has the ability to transform classic painting into a tazzebao with which she transmits her messages in the form of signs, written references to symbols of a post-modern mythology, almost urban graffiti recreated and relived in her closet studio, with the classic tools of the painter but used with a momentum, an energy, an impetus which are symptoms of a raging inner lava flow having an acute feeling, painful, but especially when she uses to express herself, a palette almost playful, she has a "light" colourism which in effect hides the contents where the epos loses the convenient and ahistorical connotation of myth to become a story of everyday, an authentic contemporary lived.
