Galleria Monteoliveto

To enter the Neapolitan spring Monteoliveto Gallery has opened the bipersonal exhibition of two artists from France and Denmark: Denise Grisi, who attended the show, with original graffiti, and Sos Beck, author of disquieting sculptures. Presentation of the exhibition by the art critic Damiano Gedressi and by professor Gennaro Oliviero curator of thel Giardino di Babuk whose critical text is in the catalog of the exhibition. GReat public has attended the show with passioned by art, collectionnists and friends of the gallery. The underlying theme of graffiti by Denise Grisi is the vision of the everyday urban perspective in the "distorted" perspective of any orderly view: "parts of the XXI century walls", broken images which reveal the loss of absoluteness and the advent of the relative, the illusion of fun, joyful characters and futurist aliens, the insistent search of mots captifs of everyday life, through painting "leakage" marking emotions and releasing energy.
Sos Beck's sculptures appear at first sight as projections of the unconscious, the result of the rebellion of an artist who tries to drive away with the dialectic of the forms, the existential distress. Her works seem to keep polymorphic "findings" of a primitive world, where the explosion of language is captured and unsettled by a constant desire to control outcomes, a difficult test that proves the maturity of an artist who gives herself to modernity through an original elaboration of the finest sculptural traditions.
