Francisco Chediak
Ecuadorian artist born in Colombia in 1973, beginning at an early age his art studies at the University of Chile.... During this period, a journey in the Amazon, passing the time with an ethnic community where he is impressed by the magic-religious of the "shaman".
The meeting along with his active interest in Eastern philosophy led him eventually to Paris to spend two years studying the visual arts.
Following a course in Madrid, where he continued his studies at the Complutense University and earned a degree in visual arts at Florida International University.
Five years, it focuses and channels his creativity with the earth, healing and esoteric aspects and then worked on an organic farm combined with the practice of holistic healing and a clinic to treat addictions.
Returned to painting the artist integrates various aspects metaphysical and philosophical, abandoning the concepts of "artistic product" and focus on the alchemical process that inspires his work. I currently live in Quito, contact with nature, painting and writing two books with artistic content and metaphysical, I create mandalas and I fed my art with nature and its processes. Every day that passes we move away from Mother Nature and we destroy the jungles, forests, wildlife and ancient cultures. The straight line, circle, spiral, my work is that conflict, the forces of impact on each other and as a direct result of the human race, and raises questions with regard to our natural environment. The modern world, supposed to be an icon of light and civilization, consumes and destroys everything in sight. Light and darkness, beauty and ugliness are not realities but of choice and my job is an opportunity to think about it through an artistic expression full of symbols and gestures transformers.
